Summer camps for children

In summer the Mulino di Mattie turns into a holiday center for children, one or two weeks just for them, where the predominant activity is horseback riding, combined with games, excursions to manual activities, animations. The experience of 30 years of activity, the great attention to each guest, the choice of activities, make the stay at the Mulino not only a fun and enjoyable holiday but also a moment of personal growth for the guys who are confronted with their own ability, entering into an extrafamily group.

Riding is experienced as a sport / recreation activity, where the relationship with the animal is privileged. The boys actively participate in the management of the horse, learning to take care of it and to saddle it. During equestrian practice the young riders are divided into small groups according to the technical level: beginners are thus offered the opportunity to gradually learn the basics and the most experienced riders to deepen and perfect the equestrian technique. Riding lessons conducted by qualified technicians, alternated with walks in the surrounding woods and equestrian games, allow you to combine learning with moments of pure fun, offering students a constant comparison with their skills. Equestrian activity is practiced every day. The center also has a covered riding school, a guarantee for the performance of the equestrian activity even in bad weather. 

OTHER ACTIVITIES

No less important are the other activities of animation: an alternation of outdoor games, sports tournaments, workshops of manual and expressive activities, excursions. Particular attention is given to the evening, with various proposals, sometimes differentiated by age groups, aimed, as well as entertainment, for greater involvement and inclusion within the group. An exit to the swimming pool in Susa is scheduled.
During the period of stay there are a series of exits depending on the interests of the boys and the weather conditions.
Possible destinations: Exilles Castle, Briancon (France), Novalesa Falls, Orsiera Rocciavrè Park, Gran Bosco Park, Susa.

THE KITCHEN

Particular attention is given to the kitchen, of a family type. We try, without upsetting the habits of our guests, to introduce a balanced diet, which makes more use of vegetables and legumes, making them more appetizing in the form of cakes and pies. During a stay there is always a “Pizzata” or a barbecue outdoors, on Sunday mid-shift possibility for parents to stop for lunch with their children.
